Additional information

This code reader will read/clear codes from EOBD diagnostics systems (this coversengine, powertrain and emissions faults). It willnotread/clear codes from other systems, e.g. SRS, ABS or Suspension systems.

The code reader is, of course, compatible withALL* UK-sold 2001+ petrol Ford cars and 2004+ diesels (as well asallother manufacturers for these years).

Please note that we cannot guarantee compatibility of pre-2001 vehicles as these were manufactured before the European legislation was enforced.

Why doesn't it work on all cars from 1996?
"The same/similar product from other suppliers works on all 1996 and newer cars...why doesn't yours?"

16-pin diagnostic port- this is required, but does not necessarily indicate that your vehicle is EOBD compliant (many were put in place ready for 2001, but are not operational).
